Karen M. Mencotti, 49, Woodstock, died Thursday, May 19, 2016, at her home.
She was born July 13, 1966, the youngest child of John and Patricia (Zemanek) Mencotti in Grosse Point, Mich.
Her passion for life came from her love for her son. He was her world’s center, and her love-so-deep was admired. She always had a joke, having inherited her fiery sense of humor from her dad. She had the softest of hearts for animals. She fought through a lot but has come out an angel.
Survivors include a son, Trevor J. Mencotti; her life partner, Theodore J. Miller; her mother; a brother, Joseph Mencotti; three sisters, Debi Joy (Mike) McNallan, Susan (Walter) Ladley and Janet Hussey; and seven nieces and nephews, Lauren Ladley, Kevin, Kristen, John Henry and Emma Hussey and Leslie and Jim Siwik.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral Services were private.
