Angela Dawn Westphal Rogers, 51, of Lebanon, Tenn,, passed away on Jan. 22, 2025, surrounded by love and family. Born on April 23, 1973, in Woodstock (McHenry
County), Angela grew up with a vibrant spirit and a deep appreciation for ’80s music.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Sue Peach; father, Gary Alan Westphal; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Betty Jean Westphal; maternal grandfather, Earl Edward Kinney; uncles Carl Westphal and Ronald Westphal; sister, Amanda Jean Westphal; nephew,
Nicholas Ryan Carr; and the father of her children, Michael Thomas Rogers. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children, Skylar Anne Rogers (Zachary Baggett), Mikaela Sue Hall (AJ Bennett), and Dallas Michael Rogers. Angela was the proud grandmother of Jaxon Liddle, Rylee Hall, Jason Bennett, Luna Baggett, and Toby Baggett, who brought endless joy to her life. She is also survived by her grandmother, Lois Jean Kinney; brothers, KJ Westphal and Alan Westphal; bonus dad, Roger Peach; her stepsister, Mary Saleh; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
Angela loved hard but fought harder. She faced every challenge with courage and determination, embodying strength and grace, even in the toughest of times. Her household was a safe haven for anyone in need, especially the friends of her children, Skylar, Mikaela, and Dallas, who often found warmth, comfort, and acceptance under her roof.
Angela had a passion for the whimsical and magical, with a deep love for “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Harry Potter.” She found joy in reading, baking cookies, and bringing warmth to others through her creative talents, A lover of simple pleasures, she often spent time coloring and creating beauty in her world.
Angela’s warmth, laughter, and loving spirit will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her. She made moments meaningful and gatherings brighter with her presence.
A celebration of Angela’s life will be held at a later date, where her family and friends will gather to honor her life and the love she shared.
