Harvey M. Schneider

Harvey M. Schneider, 70, Clemmons, N.C., formerly of Woodstock, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Wake Forest Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C.

He owned Glory Home Builders, and co-owned Country Club Stable, Woodstock. He was the first president of the McHenry County Jewish Congregation in Crystal Lake.¬

Survivors include his wife and best friend of 30 years, Kay, (Chalman); a daughter, Deborah (David) Minori; a son, Michael (Suzette) Schneider; two grandchildren, Ben and Anna Schneider; three sisters, Ellen (the late Nathan) Finn, Dorothy (Leonard) Finn and Sheila (Marshall) Ander; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Interment was July 25 at the Shalom Memorial Park, Chicago. 

Memorials can be made to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Temple Emanuel of Winston-Salem or a charity of the donor’s choice.
