Ervin F.. Schultze

Ervin F. Schultze, 88, Crystal Lake, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at Centegra Hospital -- Woodstock.

He was born March 28, 1921, in Utica, Neb., to Ernest and Martha (Pozehl) Schultze.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a lifelong member of the Woodstock VFW Post 5040. He also was a member of Lord and Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake.

Survivors include his brother, Vern Schultze, Kingston, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Velma (Schultze) Bozee, Crystal Lake; and three brothers, Albert Schultze, Batavia, Herman Schultze, Melvin, and Arthur Schultze, Huntley.

The funeral was Jan. 30 at Lord and Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9300 Ridgefield Road, Crystal Lake, IL 60012. Interment was in Huntley Cemetery.
